The renowned publisher has appointed a seasoned producer from the creators of Apex Legends to lead the studio crew at 31st Union, which is currently crafting the forthcoming third-person roguelike extraction-shooter known as this innovative game.
Leadership Shift Comes After Mixed Reception
The new appointee steps into the leadership position at 31st Union following the dismissal of previous head Michael Condrey, who was removed from his post due to the game's disappointing initial reveal last autumn.
On Wednesday, the company's top executive David Ismailer notified team members about this strategic move through an internal memo, which highlighted that playtesting had indicated the necessity for a more defined direction.
Ismailer noted that the developers is now reimagining Project Ethos with a refreshed focus, aiming to satisfy player expectations.
